      出版叙事:理论内涵、框架构建与时代命题

Publishing Narratives: Theoretical Connotations, Framework Construction, and Temporal Propositions

        Abstract:
Publishing is not simply the transmission of information, but the process of constructing a meaningful space through narrative strategies in a specific context. Different narrative methods will produce different dissemination effects. The paper attempts to incorporate narrative into the core theoretical category of publishing studies, revealing the essential laws of publishing work and promoting the improvement and development of the theoretical system of publishing studies.
Based on the theories of publishing studies and narrative studies, this paper examines the interdependent bidirectional relationship between publishing and narrative. Starting from the narrative nature of publishing content, it conducts an in-depth analysis of the theoretical connotation, framework construction, and era proposition of publishing narrative, in order to reveal the core role of publishing in knowledge construction, cultural dissemination, and value guidance.
The paper defines the concept of publishing narrative as a conscious way of constructing and conveying meaning in publishing activities, which goes beyond single information dissemination and specifically refers to organizing specific content into coherent, persuasive, and resonant "stories" through specific narrative strategies and emotional inputs. And it is pointed out that its fundamental purpose is to systematically shape, change, or strengthen individual and collective cognitive frameworks, value judgments, and even behavioral patterns through public dissemination. Based on this, the framework of publishing narrative can be divided into three main parts: constituent elements, research perspective, and effect evaluation. The constituent elements include subject, ontology, and object. The research perspective is divided into empirical research and theoretical research. The effect evaluation focuses on four dimensions: narrative core, construction method, social utility, and communication adaptation.
As the core of publishing activities, publishing narrative is not only a symbol system used for meaning, but also has the function of endowing meaning. Therefore, based on publishing narrative, we should build a Chinese story narrative system, and respond to the needs of Chinese path to modernization development. Internally, we will consolidate the common ideological foundation of the unity and struggle of the entire Party and the people of all ethnic groups in the country, and externally serve the public diplomacy with Chinese characteristics, establishing a good national image.
